Business, books: CPL and Platform Calgary link up for new entrepreneur service

CPL and Platform Calgary link up for new entrepreneur service

Entrepreneurs on the hunt for business advice have a new, accessible space to get it.

A recently launched partnership between the Calgary Public Library and Platform Calgary will give founders free, knowledgeable support for help in starting and growing an enterprise.

The new Entrepreneur Desk at Central Library will enable the following:

  • Emerging and established entrepreneurs can meet one-on-one with local experts

  • Free, 25-minute sessions to get advice on topics like starting a business, identifying markets, and product development

  • Insights on revenue and pricing strategies, funding resources, team building, pitching to customers or investors

To access the new service, drop-in appointments can be made from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Mondays at Central Library. More details can be found at calgarylibrary.ca.
