OraQ embeds AI into Medit's dental scanners
Calgary-based OraQ is having a busy year. The dental AI company announced it's partnering with Medit, a global leader in 3D intraoral scanning, to embed its clinical intelligence software directly into Medit's scanning workflow.
The integration means dental professionals will get real-time risk analysis and treatment recommendations while they're scanning patients—not after, not in a separate system, but right there at the chair.
For OraQ, it's another major distribution win. Medit has offices across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, plus distributors in over a hundred countries. The deal comes a few months after OraQ partnered with Patterson Dental's Canadian division, which put them in front of roughly 10,000 dental practices through 120 sales reps.
"Medit is redefining what a scan can do, and together we're turning every image into insight—so providers can plan the right care, at the right time, for the right reasons," said Dr. Amreesh Khanna, who founded OraQ. "We help every dentist see what matters most for their patient—clearly and confidently."
