Neo Financial takes it all on the Deloitte Canada Technology Fast 50 list

Seven Calgary companies were recognized on Deloitte’s list of Canada’s 50 fastest-growing tech companies, with Neo Financial topping the list. Now in its 27th year, the Technology Fast 50 program recognizes the achievements of Canadian tech companies, measured by three-year growth.

To take home first place, Neo Financial reported three-year growth of 154,022 percent, leaping from the number one spot in the Companies-to-Watch category last year to the head of the big-time rankings. The company offers a variety of financial solutions to customers. Its services include high-interest savings accounts and deposit accounts, a suite of Mastercard offerings (including a no-annual-fee cashback Mastercard), and mortgage options.

In October, Neo also came first on the Globe and Mail’s annual ranking of Canada’s fastest-growing companies.

“Neo Financial's growth reflects Canadians’ strong demand for better banking options and our team’s dedication to building a brighter financial future,” said Andrew Chau, CEO and co-founder of Neo Financial. “We’re laser-focused on giving more time and money back into the hands of hardworking Canadians with intuitive products like our award-winning credit cards and high-interest savings accounts.”

Neo wasn’t the only Calgary company recognized on the list. Healthtech company PurposeMed came in second place, followed by ZayZoon in 14th, Showpass in 20th, Headversity in 23rd, and BossPac Technologies in 30th. Qube Technologies, an emissions monitoring company, came in fourth on Deloitte’s list of companies to watch.
